About
Dr Hayley D Quinn
Business coach for women entrepreneurs. Build a thriving small business without sacrificing your well-being.
You’re seeking a fresh approach to small business—one focused on your well-being.
To be honest, I’m not your typical coach for women entrepreneurs. I come with a solid, qualified background in understanding human behaviour and behaviour change that sticks!
My focus? Depth and sustainable growth—not just a focus on dollars.
I spent nearly two decades as a clinical psychologist, working with women who were outwardly successful but inwardly struggling.
The truth is, numbers only tell part of the story — what’s the point of them going up if you’re running on empty?
Together, we’ll do the deep business mindset work so you can run a thriving small business that truly supports your well-being.
I will support you, whether you’re a woman entrepreneur leading a small business with big company dreams, or a solopreneur focused on personal growth. It’s my joy to show you how.
Core values that fuel my business coaching with women entrepreneurs in small business:
My superpower? Helping you come home to yourself and pinpointing the blocks holding you back, so you can move forward with ease.
Compassion
A space where courage, strength, and wisdom sustain growth.
Making an impact
Guiding meaningful business change that changes you, for good.
Authenticity
There’s power in showing up as our unfiltered selves.
Fun
And a (not so) secret value of mine? Doing serious work doesn’t mean we can’t share a laugh.
Before becoming a successful business coach for women, I had a thriving career as a psychologist (not bad for an English girl who left school at 16).
I was like you are now. On the outside, I was thriving—raising my son, establishing a new relationship, building a career—but on the inside, I was struggling.
Plagued with self-doubt and exhaustion, I felt like I was spinning in circles, balancing the roles of health professional, mother, wife, and business owner, always doing more but never feeling like it was enough.
I was experiencing burnout without even realising it.
I knew I needed a different approach to life and business. Changing the relationship I had with myself and my business through the lens of compassion was a life-changing, turning point—it taught me that I am enough.
Compassion is now my passion.
Later, I was identified as neurodivergent (autistic ADHD), which added an important layer to my story.
Now, as a small business coach, I help women step out of survival mode and create businesses that genuinely support their well-being and honours them as the individual they are…
Because I’ve learned that if you thrive, your business will too.
How you benefit from my clinical psychology background
Holding a safe space
Without a sense of safeness, fear of judgement keeps you from addressing what truly holds you back.
Behaviour change
Avoid staying stuck in cycles that lead to burnout—proven strategies for lasting change.
Evidence-based
Using what science shows works, transform limiting beliefs so they no longer hold you back.
The whole self
A holistic focus makes sure every aspect of you—beyond just business—is nurtured to allow for growth.
Mechanics behind money mindset
With deep psychological insight, confidently set rates that reflect the true value of your work.
Person-centred
'Let’s find what works for you,' not 'Let me tell you what you need’.

I’ve always had a lovely business, but I needed time for myself. Since working with Dr Hayley, I’ve reduced my hours, I’m prioritising myself, and I’m still making the same income.
“Hayley taught me how to say no so I could finally say yes to myself. My clients also respect my boundaries, and I’m confident I’ll love my work for years to come.”

Leanne Bartlem
The Church Beauty House

Hayley was so incredibly supportive and non-judgmental, which allowed me to share the vulnerable challenges around being a business owner.
“In our work together, I learned how to focus on ways to build a more sustainable practice while reprioritising my own self-care. I would highly recommend Hayley’s coaching services.”

Dr Amy Kwan
Director at MINDCHECK

I felt so engaged, clearer in my decision making and seeing a much bigger picture of what was actually going on.
I would recommend any women who are struggling to find their way in their business to get in contact with Hayley. Hayley kept me on track when my busy brain was wondering off topic, caught up in old unhelpful memories or I froze in my responses due to processing difficulties. I really enjoy working with Hayley as she responds with , playfulness, honesty, genuineness and her humour is amusing so you share lots of laughter and fun alongside the progress you make.

Things I can’t live without
Salt and vinegar crisps and good vegan chocolate. Oh yeah, and my daily check-in with myself!
Client’s call me
Clients affectionately liken me to a feather sword—someone who holds them accountable with kindness and compassion, delivering tough truths without judgement.
Most rewarding experience
Raising my darling son. Despite the challenges I faced as a single mum, I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat.
I grew up in
A small village in the UK (it rained a lot). I currently live in sunny Queensland on the Sunshine Coast.
The biggest difference between me online and me in real life is
You can hear me laugh at my own jokes, haha. Seriously though, I consistently get feedback that I walk my talk. How I show up, and what I teach, is how I live.
The bravest thing I’ve ever done?
Left a DV relationship with my infant son and created a life where I continued to take brave steps so I could thrive!
A quote I live by is
“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humour, and some style.”–Maya Angelou
